It takes a real dork to enjoy this...

... which I did. :(

I heart CS4's blob brush

So I just plugged in the tablet I just got because I wanted to use it with Illustrator's blob brush in CS4. If you haven't tried it yet, it's pretty dope. It's similar to a regular paintbrush in photoshop except it creats a vector bath with FILLS. So it's totally not like the Pen/Pencil tools from CS3 where it made a path with STROKES.

Anyway using a tablet, I was able to trace over a picture of this fellow (who happens to come up on google when you search for the word "person") and color him in. It's cool because with a tablet you can use the pressure sensitivity to have varying stroke widths and since it's vectorized, you can have it draw very smoothly similar to the brushes in flash... anyway, thought I'd share my first test of the blob brush with my tablet.. I'm sure it'll come in useful.
